We tried to figure out a way to give everyone who stuck with us through the roof collapse a little piece of the brewery as a thank you. Unfortunately, snipping 20k feet of metal roofing material into little squares to be mailed to Rahr supporters was both cost and time prohibitive (not to mention that stuff is sharp – so we were looking out for your safety too!).
We’re hopeful you’ll find the free downloadables on this page a decent substitute
because, in a way, they’re a little piece of the brewery too.
The gorgeous piece of music featured toward the end of each of our ‘What do brewers do when they can’t brew?’ videos is a version of Ein Prosit, the German drinking song – but it’s played on a slide guitar for some real Texas flavor. Just like our ales and lagers.
Many thanks to Scott Porter with GCG for making such a cool piece of music for us.
Rahr Olympic Theme
Rahr brewer, Austin Jones, asked Scott Porter to create a special piece of music for Episode 5 of the ‘What do brewers do when they can’t brew?’ series. Specifically, Austin requested (and we quote word for word) “Rocky-style montage music.” As always, Scott delivered.
Special thanks to Scott Porter and Jon Tooley for creating a piece of inspirational music that makes us laugh every time we hear it.
